Married to Shirley in 1994. They have one son, William, born in 2004. Shirley graduated from Florida Baptist Theological College, May 1995, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in church music and is currently a stay at home mom. She has been on two mission trips; one as a summer missionary through the Home Mission Board to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the other as a Volunteer Foreign Missionary through the Foreign Mission Board to Trinidad and Tobego, West Indies.

Graduated from Florida Baptist Theological College in 1997.

Chosen as pastor of Living Oaks Baptist Church by a congregational vote December, 2004.

Bob has been in ministry since 1992 as a volunteer missionary to Brazil, youth minister, and senior paster. Pittenger has also used his spiritual gifts to preach and teach at conferences, camps, and retreats.

As Pastor of Living Oaks Baptist Church, Bob Pittenger has five areas of focus: Preaching/teaching, Vision-casting, Personnel leadership, Evangelism, and Shepherding.
