Music Ministry

Music is vital to a worshipping church. God's Word commands us in the Psalms to "sing to the Lord a new song". The New Testament says that we are to "speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord". Through various musical programs and Sunday worship services, we strive to worship God in spirit and truth.

All of our music programs are ultimately designed to contribute to the worship service. These include Adult, Youth, and Children's choir, soloists, instrumentalists, and seasonal events. We also invite various groups and musicians from the community to lead us in special services. We like to incorporate different styles of music into our services. Traditional, contemporary, and everything in between are used as long as the music honors and glorifies God. As we grow as a church, so will our music ministry. We look forward to adding such programs as an orchestra, handbell choir, men's quartet, and a Senior Adult choir. Everyone is welcome and invited to be a part of the music ministry at Living Oaks Baptist Church.
