Hey, Kids and Parents, welcome to Living Oaks Baptist Church! The big question in children’s ministry is usually “What does your church have going on?” But, we want to ask you, “What do YOU have going on?” Kids are people too; and, God made people with a spiritual side to them. What does your family have going on, spiritually speaking?
Our ministry leaders want to partner with parents and to minister to kids so they grow stronger spiritually. We take the Bible and look at what is in it. Our goal is for kids to know God, trust God, and follow God. How do we do that? Let’s look at what we offer!
- Our Sunday morning Bible study is starting a chronologic trek through the Bible (that means we get to look at the Bible stories in the order that they really happened, kids!). Time to Arrive: 9:30 a.m.
- Family Worship is Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Sure we like to come to church and scatter to classes geared for just our age, but this is our one time to be together as a family in a time of worship to God.
- Sunday afternoon we learn about God through worship arts in Kids of Praise Choir.
- During evening adult worship time, kids are engaged in Bible Skills, Drill, and Thrills. Your kids will outpace you grown-ups in knowing the Bible - finding books, chapters, and verses in ten second challenges. We play thrilling games to learn serious stuff!
- Wednesdays find us having a Parent & Child “I Love You” Missions Meal followed by a Missions class that teaches us cultures, caring, and cooperative programs. Participation in the meal requires a reservation and costs $3 per plate.
